Mk2 Golf Corrado rear bench conversion

This VW Corrado bench set has been modified and retrimmed to put twin bucket style seats into the rear of a Mk2 golf, matching the previously completed Porsche 928 Golf Recaros.
The upper frames have been extended to widen the bolsters and line up the latches with the original turret profile and fixtures in the Golf. The foams have been extended and new solid backing plates fabricated before trimming in black OEM fabric and Vinyl outers with Porsche 928 Studio check centres.
There is a lot of hidden work underneath these seats just to add 8cm per side but the resulting fit and finish transforms the interior of the car while retaining an OEM feel.
